Hatem is a Research Associate, Capability System Centre and School of Science, University of New South Wales (UNSW) Canberra, Australia. His research interests include quantum-inspired evolutionary algorithms, quantum computing, the properties and structures of the materials (Rare-earth intermetallics, Glass and Nano-ceramic materials and perovskite materials), DC and AC electric conductivity, magnetic properties and magnetic structure and hyperfine interactions.
