Scope and Content

This collection comprises the minute book of the 12th and 52nd Battalion, A.I.F. Association, from the 26 August 1935 to 12 September 1968, including annual receipts and payments to 12th September 1969. The formation of the 12th/52nd Battalion Association, was decided upon by a meeting of about thirty men who served with the battalion during World War I. The battalion was formed from South Australian, Tasmanian and Western Australian troops, reinforced later by men from Queensland.
