Literary
A collection of literary papers of Kevin (K.F.) Pearson, mostly from the 1980s with the earliest material dated 1976. The collection mostly consists of working material including drafts of poetry, notebooks, working notes, readers’ reports. There is also literary correspondence, news clippings and articles, as well as photographs.
1976-1993
Kevin Pearson is an Australian poet and publisher, who writes as K.F. Pearson. He has been active in the Australian poetry scenes in Victoria and South Australia since the 1970s. He served as Secretary of the South Australian Poets Union and has been active with the Adelaide-based Friendly Street Poets. In late 1994, he founded Black Pepper Publishing with Gail Hannah.
His books include Messages of Things (1984), A History of Colour (1992), Melbourne Elegies (1999). Together with Christine Churches, he edited The Orange Tree: South Australian Poetry to the Present Day (1986).
